The Afterschool as Mission (R) preconference is a dynamic one-day event designed to equip and inspire Christian afterschool leaders. Through engaging sessions focused on leadership development, faith-integrated teaching, and family engagement, participants will gain practical tools and spiritual encouragement to strengthen their ministries.

Through interactive sessions and collaborative learning, participants will:

  • Leadership Development – Strengthen their ability to lead youth and volunteers with clarity, purpose, and vision.

  • Faith-Integrated Teaching – Gain tools for teaching biblical truths in ways that are culturally relevant, age-appropriate, and transformative.

  • Engage Families Meaningfully – Build authentic connections with families, including those beyond the walls of the church, to foster long-term community impact.

This preconference experience offers both inspiration and hands-on strategies, empowering CCD leaders to serve their communities with relational love, justice, and restoration—living out the heart of CCDA in afterschool ministry contexts.

Hosted by CCDA's After School Ministry Professionals Network

We believe afterschool and out-of-school-time (OST) programs are powerful vehicles for outreach, discipleship, and community transformation. Rooted in CCDA principles, these programs create spaces where young people grow academically, socially, and spiritually through mentorship, leadership development, and holistic engagement. By demonstrating the love of Christ in tangible ways, we equip the next generation and cultivate lasting impact. Join our network of leaders using OST programs to create thriving communities!
