  • Come and see the MoHope Resource Center, which serves our neighbors who are homeless and those living in poverty. On this Go & See, you will learn about the unhoused community in Richmond, hear real stories of life change, and learn what it means to be present, hospitable, and safe.

This Go & See does not include lunch, so be sure to grab something before meeting for departure. Transportation will be provided.
  • Richmond's East End: Hope Lives Here

East End Fellowship, Urban Hope, and the Robinson Theater Community Arts Center are neighborhood-based organizations in the East End of Richmond, Virginia.
East End Fellowship is a multi-ethnic, economically diverse worshipping community.
Urban Hope supports local affordable housing efforts.
The Robinson Theater promotes holistic health among local residents through art, fitness, and nutrition.

This Go & See shows how neighborhood-based organizations can collaborate to promote holistic health and neighborhood flourishing. Come enjoy lunch from a local establishment, multisite tours, an interactive overview of each organization, and practical insights for neighborhood-based ministry.

This Go & See includes lunch and transportation.
  • Join us at Cool Lane Commons for a tour of SupportWorks Housing, Virginia's largest provider of permanent supportive housing, with facilities along the I-64 corridor from Charlottesville through Richmond and all the way to South Hampton Roads.

You'll tour the building and our headquarters, including some of the units where our residents live, share lunch in the community room, and join a discussion about the challenges of homelessness and the solutions we see working every day. We will share the story of how we partnered with Faith Community Baptist Church to renew the senior living facility we now call home.

You will learn how our combination of housing and support services helps ensure that 97% of our residents stay housed once they come to us and leave with practical insights into building lasting solutions to homelessness in your own community.

You will ride the city bus with a volunteer from SupportWorks Housing. Lunch will be provided.
