2026 CCDA National Conference Go & Sees offer a great opportunity to experience amazing CCD ministries in the Greater Richmond area. Go & Sees provide conference participants an opportunity to learn from practitioners on the ground in the neighborhoods and communities local to the conference.
Options include:
Servant Partners Neighborhood Tour
Experience the history of Richmond, including the development of public housing, Highway 95, and the more recent gentrification of the East End. You will also learn about Servant Partners' Discipleship House for young adult men. This new initiative provides stable, affordable housing while offering structured support.
This Go & See includes lunch and transportation.
Virginia State Capitol
How can faith shape public life? Join the Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy for a tour of the Virginia State Capitol, home of the oldest elected body in the western hemisphere.
We will also learn about the work of the Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy, which engages people of faith and people of goodwill to advocate for social, racial, and economic justice in Virginia. Finally, we'll hear from some state lawmakers (potentially a few who are ordained) who understand legislating as part of their ministry.

Imago Dei Neighborhood School
Imago Dei Neighborhood School is an economically and racially diverse Christian liberal arts school that seeks to disrupt hyper-segregation in public and private schooling in Richmond City. Missional in orientation, the school works to lower barriers for families, while also building deep and supportive connections throughout the city. Launched in 2021, the school now serves 160 students in PreK to 8th grade. Learn about the intentional design and practices that shape this educational option, and the academic, social, and spiritual outcomes students are experiencing.

Prayer at City Hall
We invite you to step away from the conference main stage and join us 18 stories above the pavement. From the panoramic observation deck of City Hall, we will look out over a city of profound dualities and pray for the city.
As CCD practitioners, we know that true community transformation requires looking at our cities with clear eyes and open hearts. Richmond gives us a tangible canvas for both lamenting and rejoicing. We have much to confess from the past, vital needs to intercede for in the present, and boundless gratitude for what God is doing today.
Together, we will bring Richmond before Almighty God, looking forward with radical hope to the beautiful future He has planned. Come lift up this beloved city with us and experience Richmond from a higher perspective.
