The Anabaptist Community Development Network (ACDN) is a national community of Anabaptist Christians (Mennonite, Quakers/Friends, Bruderhofs, Church of the Brethen, Amish etc.) involved in community development work, sponsored by Everence and Mennonite Central Committee U.S.

ACDN brings together practitioners from Anabaptist‑affiliated organizations and congregations, as well as Anabaptist individuals working in community development, to connect, share wisdom, and strengthen ministries that serve and empower communities across the country.

Vision for This Network and Why It Matters

Our vision is to cultivate a space where Anabaptist practitioners can root their community development work in the Anabaptist faith tradition while engaging CCD philosophy alongside CCDA’s broader membership.

This matters to community developers because it bridges theological conviction and practical tools, helping leaders steward resources responsibly, sustain organizational health, and collaborate across denominations and geographies for the flourishing of their communities.
